The installation size of the filter housing is one of the smallest on the market, making it suitable for installation in machinery and in areas with limited space.

This versatile filter is available in stainless steel, polypropylene, and PVDC plastic. All three variants can be supplied with threaded or clamp connections, providing numerous applications in sterile or hygienic environments, as well as filtering ultra-pure water, solvents, electronics, paint, ink, and coatings.

PF-PES Junior cartridges are suitable for sub-micron filtration of various process liquids in situations where the properties of a naturally hydrophilic membrane are required.

Some typical applications include:

- Small-scale production of biopharmaceutical products.
- Sub-micron filtration of ingredients, intermediates, dye water, and final products, including sterilization.
- Clarification and reduction of bioburden.
- Ophthalmic solutions with preserved shelf life by retaining preservatives like Benzalkonium Chloride (BAK).
- Clarification and sterilization of various process chemicals.
- Sub-micron filtration of process water and chemicals, including solvents, developers, and photoresistors. This is typically used in central water treatment and critical 'wet bench' filtration scenarios.
