P-SMp Stainless Steel Mesh Filter

P-SMp is a MESH filter from Porvair that is made of a pleated filter surrounded by a steel mesh made of stainless steel (316).

Due to the material, it is possible to regenerate the filter and then reuse it. This is done either by using an ultrasonic bath or back flushing. The filter is suitable not only for thin liquids, but can also handle high viscosity liquids.

Applications and Temperature

The application possibilities are numerous, as the P-SMp filter can be used for water filtration, chemicals, biological fluids, pharmaceutical purposes, syrup, oil, food and beverages, and more. The filter is suitable for operating temperatures up to 200°C.
