BFOS is a larger filter housing from FUHR, used for liquid filtration. The filter housing uses bag filters and can contain 4, 6, 8, or 12 bags.
This type of filter housing is most often used for pre-filtration – possibly before the liquid hits a setup with finer filters later in the production line.
The filter housing is made of stainless steel (304) and can handle temperatures up to 80°C.
