An activated carbon block purifies the water and can at the same time remove bad taste, odor and discoloration from chemical or organic pollution.

Chlorine, chloramine, herbicides, pesticides, solvents and dyes are treated in the carbon block through adsorption.

An activated carbon filter requires contact time with the water to be effective. The slower the flow, the better the filtration result, as the activated carbon will have a longer time to adsorb the contaminants.

It is recommended to replace the filter after a maximum of 6 months, as otherwise bacterial growth may occur in the filter.
