Water quality is crucial in the dental industry. Tap water can harbor harmful bacteria such as giardia, cryptosporidium, and E. coli.
Using tap water in dental procedures increases the risk of infection, particularly during surgeries where bleeding and inflammation occur, providing gateways for pathogens.
Aquaphor Professional has developed an advanced series of water filtration and purification systems that ensure the highest water purity by removing suspended particles, dissolved salts, bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants. These solutions provide dentists with confidence in water quality, ensure stable clinic operation, and save valuable time.
Our package solutions for the dental industry aim to provide ultra-pure water for use in sterile dental environments. These package solutions consist of various steps that ultimately provide you, as a dentist, with the most optimal conditions for a healthy and clean environment.
Before the water reaches the various systems, it must pass through a pre-filter that removes the coarsest particles before the water is softened.
Since our drinking water can be very hard in many places, it is important to soften it to protect the membranes in the systems to be used later in the process. For this, we use our drinking water-approved Smartflow softening system.
To remove all particles in the water, the water must be passed through a reverse osmosis water treatment plant. For small and medium-sized clinics with up to 6 chairs, our APRO 100 will be used. This system is particularly notable for the minimal space it occupies. The digital display allows continuous monitoring of the water's ppm (parts per million).
To give the water the final touch for its ultimate use, the water must be deionized, which is done through our Crystal DI Pro. Here, the water is deionized, and in the final filter, it is also microfiltered. The Crystal DI Pro is extremely easy to maintain and change cartridges on. You press the button at the front of the head, and then the filter can be easily twisted off. The opposite applies when a new filter is to be installed. Here, the cartridge is twisted the opposite way until a click is heard.
For larger clinics with a greater number of chairs, the APRO 100 and APRO DI PRO will be replaced with either APRO DI 100 or DI 500. These systems have a robust, space-efficient design in a compact cabinet that provides constant access to high-quality water that is deionized. Additionally, they are easy to operate with a built-in Wi-Fi module that enables connection to the AQUAPHOR APRO mobile app.
