In modern compressed air systems, air quality is a critical factor for ensuring process reliability and safety. Compressors intake various contaminants, which are then transported throughout the system. Filters are typically installed after compressors to remove these impurities. The three key parameters to monitor are:

  • Oil content (measured in weight per volume [mg/m³])
  • Particle concentration (measured in counts per cubic meter [cn/m³])
  • Water concentration (measured as dew point temperature [°C Td])

Selecting the right compressed air quality testing equipment is the essential first step for accurate measurement in line with ISO 8573-1 standards.
