BFOS - Popular Stainless Steel Filter Housing for Bag Filters
BFOS is a filter housing manufactured by the German company FUHR and is one of their most popular filtration housings. The housings are made of stainless steel and are designed for use with filter bags in size 1 or size 2.
The construction consists of a container with a welded bottom and a lid on top, which is attached with hinges and sealed tightly with an O-ring. This ensures robust and leak-proof operation in industrial environments.
Functionality and Maintenance
The liquid is supplied via a pipe on the side and discharged through a pipe at the bottom of the housing. The filter bag is easily mounted in the housing and can be quickly replaced after use, minimizing maintenance downtime.
